Housing, housing, housing – we need housing!! Middlebury is not alone when it comes to this topic, because many of the communities across the United States need additional housing. As a community, it is imperative that we start planning for what is an acceptable residential and/or commercial development standard to preserve our existing small-town charm while allowing housing and/or commercial development opportunities to attract new families and businesses to our town. The Town is committed to re-developing the Grand Street area as a vibrant, well-used, addition to the current town amenities. Development of this site is intended to enhance the existing mixed-use, walkable character of this entry into our downtown.
