In 1990, the Federal Government enacted the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Title II of the ADA requires all public organizations to adopt a Transition Plan identifying physical obstacles limiting access to programs, services and activities by persons with qualified disabilities and bring related deficiencies into compliance with the ADA.
Middlebury has adopted a plan and a process for responding to questions regarding accessibility in the town. |
