Middlebury's Wastewater Department is responsible for operating and maintaining a wastewater treatment facility located at 121 York Drive.  The Department also has twelve wastewater lift stations to maintain located through out the Town. Wastewater from homes and businesses in our community flows through over 28 miles of sewer mains, eventually discharging into the Town's wastewater treatment plant.

To keep our system running smoothly, please do NOT flush any type of wipes (baby wipes, etc) even if the box says they are flushable.  Do not flush dental floss, diapers, cooking grease, medications and cotton products, these should be placed into your trash container.  Thank you.
